Max Summerville - Owner/Operator

JMAXX PROPERTY MANAGEMENT was founded in 2022 when I was 18. I had been doing landscaping work around my neighborhood since I was 14, using my lawn tractor and trailer, as well as a four-wheeler for snow plowing. In 2021, a neighbor approached me about partnering in a landscaping company. I agreed, he bought all the equipment, and I worked off my half of the cost.

Initially, we only mowed lawns. In 2022, I bought his share of the company, becoming the full owner. I then hired a few friends from high school and started offering additional services, including mulching, plantings, bed installations, and more. Each year, we have grown tremendously.
We now service Fairview Park, Rocky River, Westlake, North Olmsted, Bay Village, Avon, Avon Lake, Westpark, and Lakewood. We have two trucks on the road, one of which is brand new this year, and eight full-time employees during the summer.
2024 has been our biggest year yet, with almost 500 yards of mulch spread, over 150 plants installed, five or more yards regraded and seeded, and various other projects. We hope to grow even bigger in 2025!
